Basic Fitting Services

Basic fitting services are our specialty. This page will give you a better idea of options for getting your dress to flatter your body.

The Bodice

Bodice fitting includes the bustline, waistline, shoulders/straps, and sometimes the hip. Ideally, the bodice should fit snugly but comfortably on most silhouettes.

The Hem

Adjusting the hem generally means making the dress shorter to make it more walkable. We are able to hem almost any dress--often, brides worry that mermaid dresses, lace hems, or fine fabrics are unable to be hemmed. We assure you, in almost every case they are!

Bustles are the hook and loop mechanism used to lift the train of a gown up to the ground level. The bustles are done up after the wedding ceremony, before dancing at the reception. But bustles aren't just limited to bridal gowns! We have also done bustles for bridesmaid dresses and prom gowns that have a train.
